Episode #75: Cara Fox: Co-Founder of Talk Eat Play Grow

I’m so excited to share my conversation with my friend Cara Fox.

Cara tells us all about how she and her sister Margaret founded Talk Eat Play Grow — a pediatric speech and feeding therapy practice that focuses on individualized, family-centered care. The business began during COVID, when Cara and Margaret started an Instagram account to share practical tips for eating and language development for babies and toddlers.

Friends and family began reaching out for help, and what began as casual support quickly snowballed into a full practice. Cara is also a mom to three boys and shares thoughtful motherhood tips on the account — she is one of my most favorite follows!

Also fun fact, Cara has personally helped my son Nolan with his speech development; it’s inspiring to watch her in action! Cara also speaks about the lasting influence and legacy of her mother, who passed away in 2019 after 20 years as a devoted nursery school teacher.

Cara truly carries that same warmth and skill in her work as her mom did. I hope you enjoy!
