Episode #74: Katie Keating & Katrina Keating Ernst: Camino Farms

So excited to share my conversation with Katie Keating and Katrina Keating Ernst — the remarkable mother‑daughter duo behind Camino Farms.

So Camino Farms began in 2021 when Katie and her husband Pierce acquired 200 acres in Bucks County. Since then Katie, Pierce, Katrina, and their team have worked tirelessly to build Camino Farms into a camp and retreat center dedicated to serving marginalized populations, with a particular focus on people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Their mission is to create welcoming community where every individual is valued and encouraged to embrace their unique gifts.

Camino Farms is truly incredible — I urge you to check out the YouTube video in the show notes that provides a virtual tour of the campus. It includes basketball and tennis courts, pavilion, bunkhouses, animal‑assisted therapy, pool and gym, welcome center, and chapel.

Throughout our conversation, we also talk about Katie’s experience raising ten children — she’s truly extraordinary — and the inspiration Luke, their youngest who has down syndrome, has provided; his joyful presence has been a driving force behind the farm.
